Dear friends,
It is bittersweet to announce that the current chapter of Pizza Posto is coming to a close. We are selling our truck—but not our business!—and will be ending the season on Sunday, August 29th. After four phenomenal years of learning and growing, we've realized the future of Pizza Posto is within four walls, not on four wheels. We are excited to start dreaming this new dream and to bring it to fruition when the time is right. Until then, we'll be basking in gratitude for your support of our business since day one, when Pizza Posto was just an idea in The Pitch Competition at Hobart and William Smith Colleges
Special thanks to Spotted Duck, Other Half Brewing, Seneca Yacht Club, Climbing Bines, Muranda Cheese Company, The Cracker Factory, Buttonwood Grove Winery, Reinvention Brewing Company, Billsboro Winery, Bottomless Brewing, and all the individuals and organizations that hosted us over the years. We've met so many wonderful people from your respective communities that have, in turn, become the Pizza Posto community.
From this incredible community came the opportunity to purchase Spotted Duck this past winter. We've been running both businesses in tandem this season, with Pizza Posto permanently parked at the creamery. While we will miss the truck, we are thrilled to focus on Spotted Duck and to continue supporting local farmers through our small batch duck egg custard.
Please stop by and give the truck a proper send-off over the next couple of weeks! We'll be serving at Spotted Duck on Fridays from 5:00–7:30 PM and Saturdays/Sundays from 12:00–7:00 PM.
