So, since it was pouring down rain outdoors and I was stuck working indoors I decided to polish the copper bottoms of the pans. Dipping the cut end of a lemon into a small pile of salt and then scrubbing the pan, in small circular motions, with cut end of said lemon, worked great!!!

There are still a few pumpkins left, (please call first), but we are winding up the season. Fields are harvested around here and we are beginning to button up for winter. (We had sleet yesterday afternoon and snow last night!) The planning stages of the next season of our CSA (Community Sustained Agriculture) program will begin in December. If you are interested, please message me for more information! I look forward to hearing from you.

If you are interested in buying grass-fed beef this year, please message me. I am getting my yearly plan together and need to know how many head of beef to raise this year. I will be raising Black Angus. Message me with any questions. Open to anyone.

If you are starting seeds indoors, remember that you will be watering them regularly, so keep that in mind when choosing how to label them. Try to find something waterproof. If you buy any food in a plastic container, (milk jug, honey jar, cheese dip), you can cut a strip, whatever size you want for a seed marker, and write on it in permanent marker. Saves $ and space in the landfill. (I did this to make guitar picks recently and it made a pleasant sound.) Hey, why not experiment? P.S. Can you tell I'm thinking spring! :)
