This past week marked 9 years of Blue Ristra
This was me cooking a burger little over 8 years ago. My first winter serving outside GBC.
I’ve been cooking and folding burgers this exact way for 9 Fu🌶️kin years. Some of my favorite people have come in and done it this same way, my appreciation for that crew is so strong. Everyone one of them has left a mark on this trailer and I am over the moon to share this space with them!
This last winter and spring have come with new feelings of gratitude around this little blue box trailer. Seeing more folks come and go, changes to menu, new food trucks, new beers, whole new beer garden. I have my first born sitting in the service window and eating my burgers, man this timeline has been wild.
To have shared the frontlines of it all with such great people has really come into view. It’s been a pleasure to ride alongside Girdwood Brewing and the community that has embraced them and New Mexico green chile!
Thank you to all the customers, friends, staff, anyone that’s helped out along the way. Biggest thanks to my lovely wife Amy, also thanks to my father on this Father’s Day as he embedded my love for green chile cheese burgers! ⛱️
