Well friends, we’re closed again today.

I’m giving this Achilles tendon injury one more day of rest so I can get back in the kitchen and do what I love. Trust me, I’d much rather be cooking for you than sitting still.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes, messages, and encouragement. It has not gone unnoticed. Your kindness is heard, appreciated, and truly heartwarming.

We’re planning to be back tomorrow, rested up and ready to serve you better than ever.

Thank you for your patience, your support, and for sticking with us through a cold, a foot injury, and everything in between.

Well, this isn’t the post I planned on making today.

FAB Kitchen will be closed today while I get my foot checked out. I injured it and can barely walk, which turns out is a pretty important skill when you’re the guy doing the cooking.

First it was a cold, now it’s a foot injury. At this rate, I may need to stop tempting fate.

In all seriousness, I hate being closed and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We know many of you make us part of your daily routine, and I don’t take that lightly.

The plan is to see a doctor today and, hopefully, be back in the kitchen and serving you tomorrow. I’ll keep everyone updated as soon as I know more.

After a day of rest, the doors are open, the coffee is brewing, and the kitchen is fired up.

Well friends, sometimes even the chef needs a timeout. 🤒

Unfortunately, we need to close today so Chef Danny can get some much-needed rest and get back to feeling like himself.

As much as we love serving you, we also know that taking care of ourselves is part of taking care of our community.
