UPDATE: I forgot it was Tuesday and we haven’t run a Tuesday special in a while🫣 so $1.50 crunchy tacos today after 11:30am !

Are they pretty? No! 🙃

Are they gluten-free? YES! 😃

Yesterday a customer came in and asked if we had gluten-free pancakes. Luckily, I had some 1:1 flour, so I was able to use my pancake recipe and substitute the gluten-free flour 🥰

I am happy that she asked AND enjoyed the pancakes because I was feeling bad that I didn’t have a ton of gluten-free options on the menu because a lot of breakfast items contain gluten! I have enough to make more today. Our tacos can always be substituted with corn tortillas, too 🫶🏽

I do apologize but we are out of wings! We are here until 3:00pm today with our breakfast menu running until 11:00ish.💙

I know that *sometimes* I put a lot on my plate 😬 but I am always the first to admit when I overdo it - and these past few days, I did just that.

Friday I was at the restaurant from 6:30am until 10:30pm. I would like to say that I took a break or even left to grab a coffee, but that’s not the case. Magi was sick and so Ali and I handled a catering that evening pretty much on our own 😅 Shout out to Lauren and Miranda stepping in to help set the tables and cut some fruit 😘

Had it just been that day, I would be okay, but I also had a full day the day before with another catering 😆

On top of all of that - I made my first ever wedding cake (just don’t look toooo close 😝) yesterday with the help of Flowers of Faith 💐

All of that to say - we are taking a BREAK today to deep clean and relax 🫶🏽

We will see you TOMORROW, June 1 at 7:00am 💙

Anyone else feel “off” the last couple of days or just have things go wrong back to back? Did you also look up at the moon last night and realize, “ahhh, okay. it makes sense now” 🌝

So I made some pancakes for my fam to turn our week around! Come see us for breakfast and turn yours around, too 🥰

What’s it like to own a small business and have three boys 7 and under? 😅

Its spending over an hour pressure-washing the dining room floor after a busy day only to have your 3-year-old spill a 16oz cup of fruit punch and starry that he mixed together 🙃

We are open today for breakfast and lunch! We switch over to our lunch menu around 11am because it gets too messy having both shrimp and eggs on the grill - and no one really wants that….right 😆

We have one more hour left today (5/26 -
3:00pm) and are here 7:00am until 3:00pm tomorrow (5/27) 💙
Normally, I do my best to remain politically neutral on all things when it comes to my business 🙃

However, I’ve watched Stuart go out of his to way help people and businesses - both myself and people he doesn’t know. I’ve watched him do things in quiet without expecting praise or recognition. That’s just the kind of guy he is.

He’s worked hard the last couple years in city council while also showing up for his daughters and cheering on the kids in this awesome community 🐅

We will be open until about 11:00pm 💙

🎵Making banana pancakes, 𝗉̶𝗋̶𝖾̶𝗍̶𝖾̶𝗇̶𝖽̶ ̶𝗅̶𝗂̶𝗄̶𝖾̶ it’s the weekend now 🎵

Bernardo and I were so excited because we used to always make banana pancakes in England on the weekend, but so far everyone we’ve talked to either doesn’t like bananas, pancakes, or is allergic 😆

But for those of you who DO like pancakes, we have them 😝

OUR PHONES ARE WORKING!! Apparently someone cut a line taking out a couple phone lines in town🙃

I also worked on the website/online ordering yesterday - so it should be good to go 💻

Apple butter cinnamon rolls will be going in the oven shortly! I took my medicine late and messed up the recipe so I had to start over 🫣

Magi and I are both leaving at different times for end of year parties so Jewell will be by herself for about 15-20 minutes, but we’ll leave her with some grab-and-go tacos and the cinnamon rolls 🫶🏽
