The consommé is simmering.
The grills are stretching.
The kitchen equipment has been arguing all morning about who's working the hardest... and honestly, we're just staying out of it.

Thursday 7/16

Well... the kitchen equipment has officially filed another complaint.

The grill says the fryers are making it hotter.
The fryers blame the warmers.
The spatulas are threatening a walk out.
And the thermometer has simply given up.

So we made a deal...

If the kitchen hits 110°, the equipment gets the rest of the day off.
(Unfortunately for them... we still have customers to feed. 😏)

🌮 Taco Tuesday • 7/14 🌮

It's been a rough couple of days, hasn't it, Glendive?

This heat has been absolutely unreal... and tomorrow doesn't look like it's going to cut us much of a break. But you know what?

Taco Tuesday must prevail.

We'll be serving from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. If the heat reaches the point where it's no longer physically safe for us to keep going, we may have to call it early. We're hoping that won't happen, but we wanted to be upfront with everyone.

Limit 10 per person!

The grills are grumbling, the fryers are filing complaints, and the spatulas are threatening to unionize... but we think we can keep the kitchen crew under control for one more day.

One small favor, if you can...

Please order online whenever possible. Every time we open that service window, a blast of hot air rushes into the kitchen, and trust us... we're already fighting enough heat back here!

Monday at Fitzerellis!

Whew... it's been an absolute scorcher the past few days, Glendive! 🥵

We hope you're all staying cool, staying hydrated, and taking care of yourselves.

As most of you know, once it starts pushing into the mid-90s, this little shack turns into a different beast. Even with the A/C running full blast, the grills, fryers, warmers, and everything else can have us working in temperatures well over 120°.

But here's the thing...

We still love feeding this community.

So while this heat wave hangs around, we'll be serving breakfast every day until at least 11:00 AM. Once Mother Nature decides to give us a break, we'll go back to our normal schedule.

Thank you, Glendive, for your patience, your support, and for continuing to show up for us. We truly appreciate every single one of you.

Glendive... what in the world happened with these hibachi bowls?!

You absolutely DESTROYED them. We honestly did not see that coming. The grill was working overtime, the tickets were flying, and somehow we all survived. Thank you! We appreciate every single order.
