It's been a busy week bringing in some new shelving and equipment in the store while moving things around at the same time. We apologize for any inconvenience. We just picked up fresh strawberries and have a deal on a limited number of strawberries from the weekend. These definitely took advantage of the sun and are so very sweet. But we need to move them before they turn. These will be sold for $57/flat while they last. Hurry down for yours.

Micropolis Cooperative Art Gallery will hold a “Meet the Artists Reception” on Friday, July 10, from 4 to 6pm. The gallery will be celebrating its fifteenth anniversary with a show of artwork inspired by our communities and the Adirondacks.
The gallery opened its first show on July 27, 2011, with twelve artists participating. The mission of the newly formed cooperative was to provide artists with an opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork; build awareness of and support for the regional art community; and be a part of the revitalization of downtown Gloversville.
Since 2011, Micropolis has held a “Meet the Artists Reception” every two months— debuting a show of new work by its member artists as well as featuring the artwork of an invited guest. The gallery also has hosted a variety of special community events including student art shows, a juried art show open to all artists within a 100-mile radius of Gloversville, a “Recycled Paint-Out,” for children, and a “Soup-er Art Show” which was held in conjunction with soup competitions sponsored by Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market.
The reception is free and open to the public. The show will run through the end of August.
Micropolis, located inside Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market at 30 N. Main St., Gloversville, is open Monday-Friday / 9am-6pm and Saturdays from 9am until 2pm.

We just finished our first diabetic nutrition class with Nutrition Specialist Sara Brown at the Harvest tonight. While classes are currently full we encourage anyone interested to please reach out to the number listed on the flyer for more information.

Tonight's meal included grilled chicken over quinoa with roasted zucchini, sautéed garlic scapes, grapes, cherry tomatoes, red peppers, celery and a yogurt sauce. For dessert it was PB&J Greek yogurt bowls topped with our amazing strawberries.
