☕🌄☕Art loving coffee fanatics come in and enjoy our new lovely June artist of the month ✨Carol Kozlowski✨

🌄✨💐Carol Kozlowski was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She moved to San Francisco in 1970 and relocated to Colorado in 1999. Her studio, 12 Paws, is nestled in the woods behind her home in Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado, surrounding her with nature as she works.🌄✨💐

🌈✨🌄Risk, surprise, and the unknown are why she paints. Her work is about the moment. The preparation is a meditative process, while also allowing for change once the work begins. As ink, paint, or other mediums are applied, space emerges between the raw canvas, which she stretches herself, and the medium. Mistakes and the human aspect allow new creative avenues to open. Pours, drips, lines, and staining generate a partnership. Gravity is her collaborator. The raw canvas plays an important role as it absorbs or distributes the medium. Once the painting is complete, Carol encourages the viewer to run their hand over the canvas to experience the depth and surface tension created. Color adds life! 🌈✨🌄

💐Her art will be adorning our walls until the end of May. Don't miss out on your golden opportunity to find a new favorite artist and your houses next fav wall hanging! She has socks, wall art, stickers and postcards all waiting for you!!💐

🌄🎉✨Meg absolutely loves living in the mountains. Her art is often inspired by the many creatures, plants, and fungi that call these hills home. Absolutely NO AI is used in her process. All characters are hand drawn or 3D modeled from scratch.🌄🎉✨

✨🎉Canyon coffee will be hosting her this Sunday, May 24th from 10am-12pm! She will be painting from our sunny porch ready to meet you all and share her lovely work!🎉✨

🌄☕When not making art or animating, you can find Meg deep in the woods with her dog backpacking, foraging, and birdwatching.🌄☕

Her art is focused around Plein Air paintings and colorful creatures rendered in watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil. Perfect to be enjoyed with a cup of Coffee and delicious sourdough treat!

🌄✨🌈She graduated from animation school, and has since been working full time as an animator in video games. Although painting, designing stickers, postcards and socks is a hobby, it’s one Meg enjoys very much and she is thrilled to share her art with you! Absolutely NO AI is used in her process.
