Près des Prés welcomes our new pastry chef, Lucia Wilkinson!

Lucia is a baking and pastry arts graduate of Johnson and Wales University, with over 22 years experience in fine dining establishments in New York and Chicago, as well as private catering.

An ironic fact about Lucia is that she is a pastry chef with Celiac! I can assure you that it has not affected her desserts in the least, but it does mean she will always have a gluten free option for our guests.

I am very excited to announce the arrival of Lee Siegrist as our new executive chef.

Chef Siegrist comes to us from Zynodoa in Staunton where he served as chef de cuisine. Prior to that, he served in the kitchens of Patty O’s, Keswick Hall, and Fleurie, as well as the executive chef at Public Fish and Oyster.

Chef begins his service today (July 1) and this month’s menu is his own creation.

I hope that you are able to join us when Chef Siegrist can introduce himself, culinarily speaking.

I write with sad news—Chef Stephen Wynne will be leaving us. Although his time with us was short, Chef Wynne did a wonderful job, and he will be missed. Chef has decided that he would like to step back from the industry, for a bit, to focus on his growing family.

Chef Wynne’s last dinner service will be this Saturday, June 27.
Stephen adds, “Thank you everyone for the support and kind words. I have really enjoyed cooking for this community.”
Please join me in wishing Stephen and his family well in their future endeavors.
