Have you ever tried the homemade pickles on the salad bar? I have been making them for over 40 years. They are extra good right now cause we have homegrown cucumbers.
Please don’t think I’m so smart cause it’s the easiest recipe:
In a metal bowl slice 4 cups of cucumbers, 2 cups of sliced onions, 1 tablespoon of salt and 3 tablespoons of water. Let it sit out for 2 hours. Then add 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar. Cover and freeze. Yes, I said freeze! When you notice they have frozen take out of freezer. When they are thawed you can put them in any kind of container and store in the fridge.
2 or 3 cucumbers is all you need so do it and enjoy❣️
