I am very sorry to let the Mitchell Bend residents know that two more data center concept plans were submitted today in Hood County.

And yes, they are on either side of Wolf Hollow I and Wolf Hollow II. These developers truly seem to have no regard for human life.

I wonder why TCEQ rubber stamped the approval for Wolf Hollow III, without hearing from any residents from the area?

Wolf Hollow III by the way, has an approval to EXCEED environmental limits…

This brings the data center total to 6.

Come to court tomorrow.

We want 2 things:

1. Yes on a moratorium.

2. That the moratorium would apply to all projects without a site permit. Which are all of them.

That is how the current moratorium is written. We need to fight to keep that language.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Granbury beginning Friday afternoon (Jan. 23) and continuing through late Saturday night. Current forecasts indicate the potential for moderate to heavy snow, sleet, or ice, followed by dangerously cold temperatures Saturday night through Monday morning.

Residents should be prepared for hazardous travel conditions—especially on bridges and overpasses—and possible power outages due to ice on power lines and trees. Extreme cold may damage unprotected pipes, threaten pets and livestock, and become life-threatening for those without adequate heat.

How to prepare:
-Monitor weather updates closely.
-Make winter preparations to your home and business before Friday.
-Protect pipes, bring pets indoors, and plan for livestock care.
-Have an emergency kit ready.
-Check on elderly neighbors and other vulnerable friends or family.
-Consider delaying or adjusting weekend travel plans.

Wreaths Across America for Acton is at 50.2% for all grave stone markers. I think a goal of 100% is achievable if Granbury businesses and individuals get behind this. It’s only $17.00 for a wreath. The wreath laying ceremony will take place tomorrow at 12:00. You can also sign up to volunteer.
