In honor of Cailen Vela , 7 years old,who passed on Tuesday May 5th from Cancer, his parents stopped by to honor his life.Cailen loved his Pronto Pups and his parents wished to pay it forward to celebrate this amazing young mans life. They placed $100 on the counter to cover the orders after them. In typical Pronto Pup customer fashion, those who followed would add to the kitty thus keeping the pay it forward going even further. What a great afternoon to help celebrate Cailen.

These are the sticks we use here at Pronto Pup. For years, sadly we had purchased them from a company knowing they were imported. I had looked for the last few years to find a local company to make them put the pricing was five fold.
Many years back, a company out of Tennesse called Morgan lumber made sticks for us. For whatever reason, years ago my Dad switched providers.
I contacted Morgan Lumber last fall and inquired as to their ability to make the sticks for us.
The owner I spoke with talked of how the sticks would be made right in their facility from trees grown in Maine. His price was about 15% more however, just for the bragging rights of them being produced in the U.S.A. Sold me.
We received our shipment today and I am proud to say they are of great quality.
Sometimes it’s about more than pinching Pennies.
I thought maybe some of you may enjoy this little story.

Phones been ringing… yup, we are open on this beautiful Easter Sunday. Suns out but Mother Nature forgot it’s spring. ( a tad chilly )
We are here until 9:00 pm unless someone post free prime rib somewhere,… then, well,…………

GOOD NEWS!
Opening day is getting here way to quick.
We will be open this Friday ( April 3RD ) at 1100 am to start the 2026 season. Our hours will be 11:00 - 9:00 every day.

NOT SO GOOD NEWS:
After 20 years, we are sad to report we have to raise prices.
We have absorbed all our supply increases for those years. Plastics and paper products have doubled, beverage syrup has tripled ,food license has increased 120% and you all know about the beef and pork prices if you've been in a store lately.

The only rates that have gone up by choice is our hourly rate to our staff. These ladies are more than deserving and we are so happy they chose to be part of our outstanding crew.

Pronto Pups will now be $2.00 each. ( actually $1.88 but we included sales tax in the posted menu price.)
(Soft drinks Coke products) will be .75 for a small drink and 1.25 for a larger drink.

Our Ice Mountain bottled water will remain at $1.00 a bottle.

I wanted to achieve 20 years without raising our prices and we did it. The last couple years were a test but we managed to hold off.

Todays the day! Day one of four of our mid winter fix!
Today we open at 11:00 honoring our great friend ( and the reason we open on Thursday )

This great lady passed last month at 94 years young and had a wonderful life!

We will have Bettys picture down here for the day to celebrate her.
