BREAKING: DONUTS HAVE BEEN MARKED SAFE FROM THE CYCLOSPORA OUTBREAK.

Fear not, when fruits and vegetables have been deemed sketchy, donuts for sure have not. All the fruits are cooked into perfect jellies and all the donuts have been baked to perfection.

So when contemplating what to eat this week, come stock up with us.

1. Zero risk of cyclospora.
2. You’re supporting a small business in our slow time.
3. There likely won’t be a line, because, it is the slow season.
4. During this heat, you don’t have to turn your oven on to bake treats. We do that for you.

When we vacation, we still ‘work’. It’s where our conversations happen about new ideas and new donuts. It’s where we get full nights sleep (on the same schedule!) and can have a logical discussion about future plans. And it’s where we visit as many out of town bakeries and coffee shops as possible.

Yesterday while celebrating the week of July 4th, we came to the chompdonuts truck. Not only were the donuts 12/10 but one of the owners, Leah, is from Grand Rapids and graduated from Forest Hills! Once we made the Grand Rapids connection, she said that our bakery is the place she uses when speaking of donut memories. It was such an incredible moment of connection. Two girls, both far from home in Grand Rapids Michigan, standing in the mountains of Park City Utah, talking donuts and shared love of business.

We hope you all are enjoying your week as we are. And we hope that you continue to shop local and speak kindness into the lives around you. You never know when a normal moment can turn to a core memory 🍩
