Flo’s was founded on April 29th, 2011 Daniele and Davide Uccello. Daniele has always had a passion for cooking and Davide has always had a passion for service. It was a match from day one! Davide was 19 and Daniele was 24 when the two brothers started talking about it. There was little support from anyone besides their father

and mother Salvatore and Franca Uccello, others thought they were too young. The two Sicilian born brothers never gave up and after years of persistence it finally happened! Ever since then the two brothers and their management have been committed to providing excellent service and authentic Italian food at the right value. Lastly as you cruise the menu you will be looking at recipes that have been brought to America from generations past.

To Our Valued Flo’s Collection Guests and Community,

It is with deep gratitude and heartfelt appreciation that we write to you today to share that Dan Uc***lo, my brother and partner, is officially stepping away from ownership of Flo’s Collection Restaurant Group, effective March 12, 2026.

Since the very first day, Dan has been the heart and backbone of what we have built together. From the opening of our first location, Flo’s Pizzeria Ristorante & Sports Bar, on April 19, 2011—when I was just 19 and he was 24—Dan poured his passion, grit, and determination into every aspect of our company. As a visionary leader, he managed Back of House operations with excellence, led meaningful community outreach, and helped shape the direction that allowed us to grow.

Dan’s unwavering commitment and hard work have left an indelible mark on our company. His dedication helped us achieve remarkable milestones, including being named Best Pizza in America, Best Pizza in Michigan, and receiving Community Champion Awards. More importantly, he shaped leaders, supported our team’s growth, and created a foundation that our guests and staff have felt every single day.

As his younger brother, Dan has meant more to me than I can express. He was always there—covering extra hours so I could finish college and study abroad and sharing countless brother-to-brother conversations that helped me become a better communicator and leader. His guidance, love, and support have shaped who I am both personally and professionally.

On behalf of the entire ownership and leadership team, we want to thank Dan for everything he has given to Flo’s Collection. His contributions and commitment have truly meant the world to our company, our team, and our guests.

As we move forward, we remain committed to honoring the strong legacy and values Dan helped establish.

A Farewell from Dan

To the Communities We Have the Privilege to Serve,
I wanted to take a moment to share a personal update and, more importantly, express my sincere gratitude.

I stepped into my first kitchen at 12 years old, working alongside my parents and learning the restaurant business from the ground up. From washing dishes to watching how guests were treated, I learned early on that this industry is about far more than food, it’s about people, relationships, and creating places where communities come together.

After years of learning the business and navigating the challenges of securing my first liquor license, I opened my first restaurant at 24 years old with my brother Davide. That moment began what would become a 15-year chapter of my life that I will always be incredibly proud of.

Over the years, Flo’s became much more than just a restaurant. It became a place where families gathered, friendships were formed, teams were built, and communities connected. None of that would have been possible without the people who made it happen every single day.

To every employee, past and present, THANK YOU. Your dedication, hard work, and passion created the culture and experience that so many guests came to love. The energy, teamwork, and pride you brought into our restaurants made Flo’s what it is today.

To the communities that welcomed us, supported us, and chose to spend your time and hard-earned money with us, THANK YOU. Your loyalty and encouragement meant everything. Being able to serve you, celebrate milestones with you, and become part of your local communities is something I will always be grateful for.

After 15 incredible years, I have formally transitioned out of ownership of all Flo’s Restaurants, with my brother Davide continuing forward as the sole owner. While this decision is bittersweet, I have full confidence that the company will continue to grow and serve the communities that helped build it.

It has truly been an honor to be part of this journey with all of you, and I sincerely hope that during my time with Flo’s we created something that people will remember fondly for years to come.
