Common Ground opened in 1993 and is one of the oldest coffee shops in Grand Rapids. We serve locally roasted specialty fair trade organic coffees and a wide variety of delicious specialty drinks as well as baked goods made here and from the Schnitz bakery. Our staff is always welcoming and can help you find the perfect drink for your day. We have a variety of handmade baked goods such as muffins,

breads, doughnuts, as well as sandwiches and snacks. Stop by the attached Schnitz Deli for a variety of soups, salads, and awesome sandwiches Monday - Saturday

Unfortunately, the damage from the flood is a little more than we expected. We will be closed for the rest of this week and will more than likely remain closed next week as well while we clean up and get everything back up and running.
We truly appreciate all the support and understanding during this time. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon. Stay safe!

As we gear up for Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for all of you! 🦃💖 This year, we’re giving our amazing staff an extra day off to spend quality time with their families. So, we’ll be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday to let everyone soak in those precious moments.

But don’t worry, we’ll be back and brewing your favorite cups on Saturday, the 29th! ☕️✨ So mark your calendars, and we can’t wait to see you then! Wishing you all a wonderful holiday filled with love, laughter, and of course, lots of delicious food! 🍂🥧
