This past weekend, we took 14 of our employees on an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas to say "thanks" for all the hard work. Wow, did we have a blast! We performed some "research" by visiting a bunch of bars and restaurants, went hiking in Red Rocks National Park, visited the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, played a little blackjack, and stayed up way too late every night and regretted it every morning...and then did it again. Here are a few photos.

BarFly Ventures is proud to be a founding member of the Great Lakes Business Network, a group of Michigan business leaders intent on bringing publicity to, and ultimately shutting down, the potentially disastrous Line 5 pipeline underneath the Straits of Mackinac and the St. Clair River. The pipeline is owned by Enbridge Energy Partners, the Canadian company responsible for a disastrous oil spill in the Kalamazoo River in 2010. An accident affecting the 64-year-old Line 5 could contaminate the Great Lakes for generations to come. SHUT DOWN LINE 5!

Ten business leaders are against oil pipelines in the Great Lakes.
