Part of the reason we left this page active was so we could continue to connect with our amazing guests and let them know what is next for us. Here is an update on Danielle. You all need to go see her! She would love it!

While sitting in a winery on Main Street a few months ago, my sister asked me what I missed most about the hospitality world. I told her it was making connections with our guests, talking about wine, and being a part of a great team. I decided to try to get a job pouring wine. It turns out, I missed everything about the hospitality world!

This week I accepted an offer to be the Assistant Manager at Sloan & Williams Winery in downtown Grapevine! I am so excited to be a part of this incredible team. The wines are award-winning and beautiful, the tapas are tasty, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I am ecstatic about this new chapter. Come see me!

Great Scott has reached an amicable agreement with our landlord to close our current location at 1701 Cross Roads Drive in Grapevine, TX, in January, 2020. We truly appreciate the opportunity to open our "dream" of a non-chain restaurant in our hometown. To our most loyal guests, mere words fail to describe how much your constant support, words of encouragement and your friendship mean. To us, you are more than friends, you are family! The Great Scott team remains proud of our past accomplishments, and we will never stop chasing "greatness" as we look forward to new and exciting opportunities in 2020 and beyond.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, Danielle McClain Scott! Many have asked; “why is Danielle’s nickname ‘The Great Mrs Scott’?” The answer is simple..Danielle is quite simply a Great Person! She is a Great Friend, Great Daughter, Great Sister, Great Aunt, and fortunately for our kids and I, she is the Greatest Wife and Mother on the planet! We LOVE you ‘The Great Mrs Scott’ and we thank God everyday for you being the Rock of our family!

For those of you who know Great Scott, you know in the last 3 years Kevin has worked in every possible position within the restaurant and we would not be where we are without him!
