⭐ Staff Spotlight: Meet Cindy! ⭐
If you've dined at The Narrows over the past several years, chances are you've met Cindy! A server with nearly nine years on our team, Cindy is known for her friendly personality, great sense of humor, and the lasting connections she's built with guests over the years.
Originally from the Western Shore, Cindy says one of the things she loves most about working at The Narrows is the family atmosphere. Between supportive management, a flexible schedule, and a team that feels like home, she's found a place where she's truly enjoyed putting down roots.
When it comes to menu favorites, Cindy recommends starting with our Cream of Crab Soup or Lobster Tempura, followed by the Petite Filet topped with a jumbo lump crab cake, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, and a little extra Cabernet demi-glace. As for dessert? Cindy says she enjoys living vicariously through our customers and hearing which sweet treats they choose!
Some of Cindy's favorite memories at The Narrows are the annual Christmas parties, but she says the fun isn't limited to special occasions. With an experienced staff, great company, and plenty of laughter, every day brings something memorable and makes The Narrows a genuinely enjoyable place to work.
Outside of work, Cindy loves to travel. Cruises, Mexico, the islands, and Italy are among her favorite destinations, and she especially enjoys visiting her brother in St. Thomas. At home, she shares life with two cats and has spent many years as a proud Jack Russell owner.
Her advice for anyone entering the restaurant industry? "Do your job as well as you can. You're in the customer service business—do it well, and it will pay off."
