Mark your calendar for November 7th 📆 It’s recycling time!!

Join Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful for their Annual America Recycles Day!

Gwinnett County residents will be happy to learn that Saturday, November 7th marks the return of America Recycles Day (ARD) to the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds in Lawrenceville. Hosted by Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful and Gwinnett County Solid Waste Management from 9 a.m. to noon, the event will give locals a “one-stop-shop” opportunity to drop off items that are typically more difficult to recycle, such as electronics, tires, clothing, sneakers, and latex and oil-based paint. Paper shredding will also be available.

Items collected during America Recycles Day 2026 are:
*Paper shredding is limited to five copier paper boxes
*Electronics recycling is free except for TVs, monitors, and printers – ($15 cash fee per monitor or regular TV; $5 cash fee per printer). Projectors/Console TVs are $35 cash fee
*Paint: oil-based and latex paint will be accepted and limited to 10 gallons per vehicle (Cans must contain 25% wet paint). We will not be accepting empty paint cans or cans with solidified paint.
*Tires are limited to 8 tires per vehicle; no dealer tires. Tires must have rims removed as well as be free of water and debris.
*Clothes and sneakers gently used.

*Boxes and containers will NOT be returned
