(Take two because clearly Meta ate my caption yesterday and I didn't notice. So let's try again.)

This is a flavor idea I've had in my head for months—since well before we opened—and I'm so excited to finally be sharing it with you!

Introducing... CAMPFIRE STORIES!

One of my favorite summertime activities is roasting marshmallows over a fire (bonus points for telling ghost stories while roasting!), and s'mores are the quintessential American summer treat, so I knew I needed to find a way to turn the nostalgia of those sticky s'mores summer nights into an ice cream.

I've eaten several s'mores ice creams before—chocolate with graham crackers and marshmallows or vanilla with chocolate, graham, and marshmallow or marshmallow ice cream with chocolate and graham crackers—but, while they were all yummy, they were all also missing the pivotal flavor: FIRE-ROASTED marshmallows. It's not enough to have marshmallow...you need to taste the flame.

Which is why Campfire Stories starts out by flame roasting a TON of marshmallows before incorporating them into our dairy mix and adding chopped up Hershey's bars and graham crackers. (When I say a ton of marshmallows, I really mean it—this ice cream has a softer, stretchier texture than most because of the high marshmallow content.)

It was a big hit yesterday, and I'm back at it this morning, torching more marshmallows and freezing batches of ice cream so you all can swing in and try it for yourself!

Witness the magic* of making our liquid nitrogen ice cream!
