Due to some health related concerns, The Corner will be closed until further notice. We appreciate our staff and their hard work to keep all of our customers happy and served well. We especially thank our loyal patrons for their constant support.

We are still offering Roastbeef, mashed potatoes and gravy; chicken pot pie or Hamballs and cheesy potatoes!

Or our craft sandwiches like the

Chicken Philly: sauteed onions, green peppers, seasoned chicken breast, melted provolone cheese on a toasted hoagie. Sandwiches are served with chips, potato salad or macaroni salad.

We sold a specialty burger yesterday that received some praise as well. The Chicago Dog Burger: 1/3lb seasoned ground beef patty, all beef hotdog, American cheese, onions, relish, celery salt, tomato and mustard on a toasted brioche bun.

Just a reminder that in addition to our specials: roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy; chicken pot pie; and Hamballs w/ cheesy potatoes. We have our signature sandwiches.

Build your own burger or try our specialty burger which is the Chicago Dog burger (pictured): 1/3lb seasoned ground beef patty, all beef hot dog, American cheese, onions, pickle relish, tomato, mustard, celery salt and sports peppers. All on a toasted brioche bun.

Any special ordered comes with a slice of our pumpkin fluff pie for only $2 extra.

Soup is minestrone or cheeseburger chowder.

Starting November 1st, we are going to deploy seasonal menus. This entails offering 3 lunch special options every day for the week(changing the following week). A beef, chicken and pork special will be available. We also intend to offer monthly craft sandwiches(Cuban, chicken or beef Philly, chicken bacon ranch,burger options....etc ) served with chips or salad of the day(macaroni, potato etc). Also available daily will be grilled melts( ham, turkey, or bacon or just cheese) and soup(two options daily).

Starting Tuesday thru Friday this week the specials will be:

Chicken pot pie: slow roasted chicken and vegetables swimming in savory gravy and packed into our house made pie crust.

Ham Balls and cheesy potatoes: fresh ground ham loaf meatballs sweet and tangy tomato sauce, served with cheesy hash brown casserole.

Roast beef, mashed potatoes w/gravy and garlic roasted carrots: Slow roasted beef sliced, homemade mashed potatoes, rich and savory gravy and roasted carrots.

You can order one or all three Tuesday thru Friday.
