Nine years ago, Adam and I began our journey at LedgeStone. 🤗
A little trip down memory lane. We were surrounded by family and friends as we opened the doors for the first time as new owners. It was a day a lot like today is shaping up to be. We set up a small stage on the patio, welcomed Rob Anthony to play, and hoped a few folks would come spend the evening with us.
We had no idea what to expect. Or if anyone would show up.
As it turned out, the night had a little magic in it. Every wine glass was used. Then every backup glass. Then, yes, even the coffee cups. 🍷
That first night told us a lot about what LedgeStone could be. Music, wine, friends, family, and a place to gather. Simple things, but the good kind.
So it feels pretty special that Rob is back tonight for a solo patio session. A little full-circle moment, nine years later.
Adam and I are heading to Ohio this weekend for a family wedding, so we won’t be there to sit on the patio and reminisce like we’d love to. But in a way, that feels right too. LedgeStone has grown into something bigger than us, it's a place for everyone. A place that our team, our joy, our wine and passion all mesh together to create something whole.
We are simply lucky to be its stewards for a while. A place where people grow, gather, share, and make new stories of their own. ❤
