Hi FGK Family,
After 45 years of food, family, and friendship, itâs time for us to close this chapter of Famous Greek Kitchen.
For decades, this little restaurant wasnât just a place to eat, it was home. A place where birthdays were celebrated, milestones were toasted, and faces became familiar. Weâve watched families grow up here, and shared countless meals, stories, and laughs around our tables. Youâve become a part of our family, and thatâs what made this place so special.
When we had the flood earlier this year, we truly thought weâd be back soon. But as time went on and the repairs stretched further than expected, we found ourselves facing a decision none of us took lightly. After many long talks and a lot of reflection, we decided it was time to close this chapter and officially sell the restaurant.
To everyone whoâs ever walked through our doors, thank you. For showing up, for supporting us, for loving us like one of your own. To our staff, past and present, thank you for being the heartbeat of this place. And to our community, youâve given us a lifetime of memories, and for that, weâll forever be grateful.
Of course, none of this wouldâve been possible without John, who opened the restaurant all those years ago. And none of it would have been the same without Stavros, our head chef, our leader, and truly the soul of FGK. His story in the kitchen is far from finished, and we canât wait to share whatâs next for him.
And while the restaurant itself may be gone, the story of Famous Greek Kitchen is far from over. Something exciting is already in the works, a way to keep our legacy, our recipes, and our memories alive in a new and meaningful way. We canât say much just yet, but trust us, youâll want to stay tuned.
So, from our family to yours, thank you for 45 amazing years. You gave us purpose, laughter, and love every single day.
With endless gratitude,
The FGK Family đ€
