Everyone who was lucky enough to be at Big Birch Lake last Friday night and either sitting on a floating device or on a beach at 10 PM, witnessed a spectacular fireworks extravaganza! Even though the weather was windy all afternoon producing huge whitecaps on the lake, the evening water surface was calm and the temperature pleasant. A smart move on the part of the BBL Fireworks Committee to choose the 3rd of July instead of the 4th! Here is a photo submitted by Bethany Domm from 919 Studio. Even though the fireworks were super colorful, this photo caught a stark color shift, created by the artful explosions in the sky. Kudos to the BBL Fireworks Committee from all of us at the Rock Tavern for another memorable show!
