You know, all jokes aside it is pretty wild to be apart of a small business that changes people’s lives. Sure, maybe not with drinks but certainly by providing a space in which folks can hang out, attend cool shows, and come to so many different rad events.

PRECIOUS PROBLEMS IS HERE. What is it? Great question. It’s a brand new tea latte, featuring newly-carried apple cinnamon black tea from Truly Teas and maple syrup, and is named after a song on Time Under Tension, the latest album from War On Women .

A portion of sales from Precious Problems will be donated to the STAR Center at Methodist Hospitals. We’re also running a round up campaign for them through the rest of the month, which you may have seen if you’ve checked out at any of the cafes recently.

It’s punk to care, it’s punk to listen to & believe survivors, it’s absolutely punk to not lose hope that things can get better.

Oh, and go listen to the album. They’re one of Gabe’s favorite bands.

It’s another book swap month! Coming up this Sunday, 10/18 at the Highland Grindhouse on Ridge.

If you’ve never been to a book swap, it’s free and you bring your gently-used books you no longer want. You’ll trade in those books for tickets, browse what other people brought, and then “checkout” with the tickets (in most cases 1 book = 1 ticket).
