Oh man… 💔
Our last dinner at James on Main was truly unforgettable.
Chef Bill and his team absolutely knocked it out of the park, just like they always have. We didn’t take a single photo of dinner because we were too busy soaking in the conversations, the atmosphere, and every bite.
When we first heard it was Sweeny’s last week, the plan was simple: stop in for all her dessert and a bottle of wine. But once we got the news that the doors were closing for good, we knew we had to have one last dinner too.
The goodbye was emotional. The food was incredible. And the memories made there over the years are something we’ll always hold onto.
James on Main has been one of my favorite restaurants and, in my opinion, one of the very best in town. It leaves behind some big shoes to fill.
I’m especially grateful to call Bill a friend. Thank you for sharing your talent, your passion, and your restaurant with all of us. You’ll be missed more than you know. ❤️
