Due to a lightning strike, an electronic component at the water plant malfunctioned, causing a drop in water pressure. We have implemented a precautionary boil water notice for an expected 48 hours, we will provide an update when it is lifted.

TECO will be removing and replacing multiple wooden poles along Lake Alfred Road beginning Monday, June 1, 2026 and it is expected to continue through Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

The project begins at Bolender Road and Lake Alfred Road and it ends at Shinn Boulevard and Lake Alfred Road. The work will involve westbound lane closures on Lake Alfred Road between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
