Dear Dine 82 Customers,

When I decided to open on Sundays, it was always intended to be a trial run to see if the support and demand were there. Sundays were something many of you requested, and I wanted to give it a try because I truly value my customers and their continued support.

However, after careful consideration, I’ve made the decision to discontinue regular Sunday operations until further notice due to limited staffing in both the back of the house and the front of the house.

One thing I will never compromise is the quality of food, service, and overall dining experience my customers deserve. I’m only one person, and as much as I love what I do, I simply cannot do it all alone. It takes a dependable team working together, both in the back of the house and the front of the house, to provide the level of service I expect for every guest who walks through our doors.

I’ve been in this industry long enough to understand that no amount of money is worth sacrificing your health, peace, or well-being to burnout. That’s a lesson I learned many, many years ago.

My goal has never been just to open the doors and make money. It’s to provide a dining experience that reflects my standards, my passion, and the pride I take in everything that comes out of my kitchen.

This doesn’t mean Sundays are gone forever! In the future, I may bring back Sunday Brunch once a month, giving our customers something special to look forward to while allowing us to maintain the quality of food and service you deserve. Any future brunch dates will be announced in advance.

I sincerely appreciate everyone who came out and supported our Sundays. Your support has not gone unnoticed and I am truly grateful.

Dine 82 will continue serving you Wednesday through Saturday. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as I make the decisions necessary to keep Dine 82 operating at the standard you deserve.

And one last thing! Although Dine 82 will no longer be open regularly on Sundays, I encourage you to continue supporting our fellow local restaurants, including Seaboard Station, Sly’s, Legacy, Holiday Restaurant, Ansonia Soup, Southern Rails, and Captain George. Please consider visiting these establishments for your Sunday dining experience. Supporting local businesses strengthens our entire community, and I firmly believe there’s enough room at the table for all of us to succeed!
