To our family, friends, and valued customers, it was a difficult decision to be made but we will be closing our doors on July 1st. For over a year and a half, Portside has been more than just a restaurant; it's been a second home to our family and a gathering place for this community. It was a dream that morphed into a reality.

When we first opened up we never expected for the community of Hammond to welcome us the way it did. Portside was built on a simple dream; great food, good company, and a welcoming atmosphere. From the countless meals, celebrations, and everyday moments that were shared within these walls, nothing has and will be taken for granted. We as a family and as a company have enjoyed all of the heartfelt moments and the joyous laughter that has echoed throughout our building.

This decision to close the doors was not an easy one, but as we turn this page, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support, your friendship, and your love have meant the world to us. The memories created here in Hammond America will forever be etched in our hearts. Most importantly we want to thank God for giving us this incredible opportunity and for guiding us through it all. So come share a final memory and one last meal with us before July 1st!

Now this is not the end but just the beginning. And don't go too far, we are sure our paths will cross once more. Thank you all again!
