As the start of the school year and the senseless violence that our youths have endured, we wanted to do something for them to let know that there are resources for them and our community is with them. I want them to engage with our police officers that will be on hand so if ever needed they would feel comfortable speaking with them. Please encourage your high school teens to come out and get the scoop! We will have a DJ, a scoop of ice cream for the students,information on bullying and various members from the city will be in attendance. (Ice cream will be given to the students for the first hour)
