This past Monday one of the owners, Thom Carroll, lost his battle with cancer. We would appreciate sympathy and patience as we navigate through this devastating loss.
Without Thom Yu Takeout wouldn’t exist, he encouraged his wife, Sonye, to follow her dreams of opening up a restaurant where she could share her culture with Hancock County.
He loved hanging out by the pick up window to be able converse with all of you and learn your stories as well as share his own, and he will be greatly missed.

Thom Carroll, age 67, passed away surrounded by his loved ones Monday, May 12, 2025, in his home in Hancock, Maine. He was Born July 23, 1957, in Bar Harbor,
