//from our family
There is a space between us. Come to close and we tend to retreat. Keep your distance and we might venture closer. An intricate invisible space in which we try to navigate the chemistry of connection. A balance that is ever changing between the push and pull forces of relational exchange.
Quite honestly it is tempting and sometimes easier to close the doors to this space, only for it to become a void that slowly pulls and destroys everything in its black hole. Yet, over the course of the last 5 years you gently respected and navigated this space.
At times when instincts, emotions and fears tried to convince us to board up, you gently nudged and stepped in to become the glimmer in the dark space between us. And other times, when we were in desperate need for someone to saturate the silence, you eagerly walked in and lit up the lonely space between us.
As time passed, we have come to find that there exists a space between us. And on a cool evening, as you lie down with your head resting on folded arms, the darkness slowly comes alive to reveal a Milky Way of glimmering lights. Truly we were never alone. Indeed, the space had no dark vortex forces. All we needed was time. Time for our eyes to adjust and see the celestial universe of connection that exists in the space between us.
This is our official goodbye on our Ikigai Coffee platforms. As always, less is more.
THANK YOU… thank you!
