It is the last Saturday of the month so that means it is Pie Day in the Bakeshop! Some traditional flavors, some unexpected, all individual size! Open 9am-2pm.

I've had a few people ask me if there would be manatee cookies. Absolutely. Manatees have been removed from the threatened and endangered lists not because their populations are stable, but because their habitats are attractive to oil and gas companies and our current administration is for sale.

Manatees are my spirit animal. If you've ever had the displeasure of using a dating app, you've probably been asked that question. And since I was forced to actually think about what animal I am most like, I sincerely contemplated it and manatee is the answer. Fat but cute, vegetarian, harmless but easily hurt, often overlooked, gentle, and curious.

They deserve protection over profit.

Our weekly donation to support the victims of domestic violence at YWCA Hanover Safe Home !

The need is still there so we will continue our collection in the Bakeshop. When donations are light, I always fill in to avoid skipping a week. I deliver on Wednesdays.

In conjunction with Rainbow Rose Center we are collecting clean clothing donations! There is a box in the Bakeshop for easy drop off.

Show is in Lancaster on Friday, August 7th! It's Irish rock music with some protest songs thrown in! Definitely a good time! I'll be there!
