Please be advised! We will be closed Sunday through Thursday, March 22nd–26th, to refinish our floors.

One of the many things I love about our space in Hardwick is the wood floors — they add so much to the warm, cozy feeling of the café. They’ve also been a challenge to maintain and keep looking good. After trying a variety of finishes, and attempting some of the work myself, I’ve finally pulled the trigger and hired Tom Hayes from Topnotch Flooring to do a proper refinishing. He’ll be using a durable finish that will make future maintenance topcoats much easier. We picked this week because it’s historically been our slowest of the year. Only half the space will be done now — the other half will be finished when we close between Christmas and New Year’s.
