Here at Milk & Honey we hope to provide our guests with a simple yet excellent eating experience. We use fresh, local ingredients to create meals that appeal to a wide variety of tastes, while maintaining an accessible price point for any who might wish to join us. Building and sustaining our local community is very important to us, so we strive to support as many producers of high quality, locall

y-grown food as possible. Our fast casual dining service allows folks to choose a quick meal to go if their time is limited - or if it is not, to enjoy a relaxing experience in our newly-renovated space in the historic Booth Building. We hope to preserve and promote our restaurant as one piece of Harlan’s vibrant downtown square.

We apologize that we weren't open this evening as planned.

Our family was in Northeast Iowa saying goodbye to Ellen's Aunt Inga. She was much more than an aunt; she was a next-door neighbor, mentor, and a huge influence on our family's love of hospitality, caring for others, and showing love through food.

Aunt Inga was also an outstanding basketball player in the 1960s, leaving behind a legacy we're proud to be part of.

This marks the sixth funeral our family has attended in the last 19 days. Hold your loved ones close and tell them you love them. Life is precious.

Thank you for your understanding. And thanks to our staff for keeping things going the last 3 weeks.
