Y’ALL… YOUR GIRL MADE A CAKE! 😭🎂🍫
For the longest time, I didn’t even identify as a chef because I thought I needed culinary school or accolades behind my name to earn that title. But after years of learning through experience, watching videos, reading books, and learning from others, I’ve realized that being self-taught doesn’t make me any less of a chef. I AM A CHEF in my own right! 👩🏽🍳❤️
Fast-forward to a last-minute cake order. 😂 I was honest and told her, “I can bake you a cake, and it’ll taste great, but decorating? Now that’s a different story!” LOL. But BABYYYY, I was excited for the challenge! In my mind, I was about to make a FIVE-STAR cake. Challenge accepted! 😂
Between catering, meal prep, and making this cake, this weekend was BUSY! But it reminded me of something. Sometimes, I question whether I should take a break from Quanna’s Kitchen, especially when progress feels slow. Then moments like this happen, and I’m reminded that I’m exactly where I need to be. God’s timing, not mine. 🙏🏽✨
And let’s talk about TRUST. People are trusting me to prepare food for them, and that is something I will NEVER take lightly. You’re literally trusting me with your TUMMY! 😂❤️ But seriously, it’s such an honor, and I’m grateful for every person who chooses Quanna’s Kitchen.
