From soil to oxygen and heat to extraction, humanity once believed these four elements to be the foundation on which the world subsisted. rink that satiates the palate is elementary. Coffee, in its essence, is purely elementary. Coffee beans have been nourished by the soil, grown into carefully tended trees whose cherries are picked at prime ripeness, and laid out to dry in the air and sun. These beans, so roughly removed from their husks, are processed and packaged in burlap to travel around the world and be artistically roasted by fire. Finally, brown and pungent, the beans are ground, flavors extracted by water, and presented to you, to drink. Through your sips you can taste their history: the soil where they were grown, the air they breathed, the fire that roasted them, the water that extracted them: you taste their elements.
