Secluded Celebrations

Enjoy woods, plants and wildlife while you dine. Whether it be a family celebration such as a birthday party, bridal or baby shower or just a special get together, we can make a delightful celebration for up to 12 people (a minimum of 5 guests please). We will help create a individualized menu to your liking, to suit any event. It is important that we serve the freshest food that is locally grown

so we shop Farmer's Markets and purchase from local farmers whenever possible. We cook from scratch and use mostly organic materials. Many recipes have been passed down from family and friends, some are original and have become signature dishes. The tea room is available all year, seasonally decorated with eclectic heirloom service pieces, five course meals consisting of appetizer, soup, salad, entrée, dessert and of course, plenty of tea. Our gardens are ready to welcome you March through October. We've planted many spring bulbs but our main interest is Hostas. At this time we have collected nearly 2,500 varieties of Hostas, some miniature (no bigger than your thumbnail), while others are six to seven feet across. We also have companion plants and other items of interest. You are free to meander about or we will be glad to walk with you. As with any garden it continues to be a work in progress and there is always a project or two going on. Think of us for showers, parties, Women's Club Luncheons, Garden Club Outings, gatherings with good friends, birthdays or a pleasant afternoon get together.
