The MLF National Championship is over for the boys. They finished 45th out of the 237 teams that qualified. They’re tired and a little homesick but we are very proud of them for finishing in the top 20% of teams in the country!! It is an honor to even qualify for this tournament. The fishing was tough but they persevered and brought a decent finish home.

Thank you guys for the continued support this year. They’ve had a fun season full of awesome accomplishments 🖤🐶🧡🎣

After Wednesday fishing the boys sat in 50th place in the National Championship and 81 in the Worlds out of 411 boats. They are only 2.11 pounds out of the top ten. They still have plenty of time to move up! They have a later weigh in time today and are hoping that will be to their advantage! They caught the fish yesterday but they were shorter than the 18in minimum for small mouth.

The boys have to be checked in at 2:40 today. The weigh in is a little different than most.
There is a 3 fish limit
They will weigh their two smallest fish in at the ramp when they check in
They will then hook up and travel to the local Fairgrounds to weigh in their biggest of the day and get their combined weight total.

The weigh in will be live at the following link or on The Student Angler Federation FB page.
There is, also, a live leaderboard on the website if you want to check in sporadically.
