We're getting excited for tomorrow's Healthy Hustle Harwich 5K tomorrow- weather looks fabulous- this year we have a few NEW things as we add to the experience and fun of the road race. Every Step Supports Healthier Futures...

New this year - QR Code for you to register day of (we are joining in the modern technology - LOL)

Kerosene Heater Band will be on our porch 10:30am-1:00pm - Our awards will be handed out on the porch when our participants are in.

(3) Delicious Food Trucks for after awards celebration - One ticket per food truck.

One ticket is included in participants fee, you will get ticket when you get your bib. Spectators can purchase ticket $20.00.

Bib pick up and registration is TODAY 2:00pm-6:00pm

We are days away from our Harwich Chamber of Commerce Healthy Hustle Harwich 5K- Have your registered? There is still time online until Friday morning am and then onsite 2-6pm Friday or Day of the Harwich 5K Road Race. - New this year after awards will be at the parking lot with the awards handed out on the porch - and three delicious food trucks.

When you get your bib you will get your food truck ticket which will be turned in at one of our three food trucks.

Spectators can purchase food truck tickets Friday 2-6 or Day of $20 per ticket per person.

Congratulations Scott Tyldesley and thank you for your service.

Congratulations Lieutenant Tyldesley......

Today is the last working day for Lieutenant Scott Tyldesley, and tomorrow we will celebrate his retirement with a last day coffee at Fire Headquarters.

Scott completes a 20 year career as a full time firefighter and Lieutenant, and also served as a call firefighter in the mid-80's. He currently is the head of the Harwich dive team and serves as part of the leadership for the Barnstable County Regional Dive team. He is also the head of the Harwich Boats operators.

Scott is what we call a legacy, with his father serving Harwich as a firefighter and Captain until his retirement in 1994.

Please come join us tomorrow, June 16th, from 9 to 11, say hi to Scott and wish him well as he starts out on his next chapter.

Fun Fact from yesterday- our social media was as hot as the temperature... Thank you to everyone for viewing our Live Video from the early morning, where we shared what the day was all about.... We had 10,840 views - the buzz and excitement all day was FABULOUS.. seeing all the shopping bags made my heart very HAPPY!!!!! Harwich and Harwich Port shined- as ALL OUR Seven Villages Do.... Look forward to seeing everyone in Harwich.... We have more exciting announcements to support our members and our community!!!!!

Day of decision if weather is a concern- our bands make the call by 2pm so we can cancel the police detail we hire.

Wednesday morning we will post where all the bands will be playing. AGAIN WATCH HERE FOR ALL INFORMATION..

We are super excited and looking forward to seeing all the happy faces - dining - shopping and listening to great music.
