Look around the restaurant and you’ll find some super cool things that Mike has picked up along way during his time at Sullivan’s Scrap Metals…(More on some of these fascinating finds later)

But this one is hard to miss, a true American classic: a vintage Schwinn Sting-Ray!

Introduced in 1963, the Sting-Ray’s iconic banana seat & high-rise handlebars, inspired generations of riders and helped pave the way for BMX culture

Who recalls owning this bike? Chances are this one could’ve been yours!

We had a team meeting today and furthered our wine education by from

❤️This is the heartbeat of Steel Penny right here❤️

These incredible people run this restaurant day in and day out. They work morning into the night, often without sitting, without eating, or without taking a break. They work doubles, back to back doubles, even three doubles in a row, and they all do it while smiling.

Some drive 45 minutes away, passing restaurant, after restaurant to work here with us..

What an incredible team.

They all have worked when they don’t feel up to it, when they’re not mentally in it, they often have to put on a happy face, even if someone was just rude to them for no reason, or when they’re just having a bad day.

I have had nearly every job, and this industry is the hardest, by far. I have no idea what we’d do without these people. Each one brings something special to Steel Penny and we are so lucky that they chose us🫶🏽

Beyond grateful and thankful for this wonderful crew❤️

Please be nice to them and any people in the service industry. They deserve nothing but kindness, always ❤️

This one is SO special, I woke up dreaming about having another one today🧡👩‍🌾💭

The Carrot Cake Latte made with our homemade carrot reduction which is made from real carrots, in-house roasted coffee beans, subtly sweeented with our homemade simple syrup, but the ⭐️ of this show is the homemade cheesecake whipped cream made from none other than , topped with roasted, crushed walnuts and finished with a cinnamon sugar sprinkle☕️✨🧡

You won’t want to miss this one, it’s dessert in a cup! 🤤

Never thought I’d be eating THIS good… inside a scrapyard

Went out to dinner the other night — not something I typically do — but this one was worth it

Linked up with a few friends for a double date. We’ve been talking online for a while, I’ve been watching their content, and I’m a big fan — so it was time to finally meet up in person.

They took me to a spot they love, and one I’ve been hearing about from my Aunt Kim too — The Steel Penny Cafe

And yeah… this place is literally tucked inside a scrapyard. No exaggeration.

We went all in:
– Detroit-style pizzas
– Cutlet sandwiches on house-made bread
– A whole lot of damage done at the table

Everything was 🔥 across the board.

Definitely a spot I’ll be back to — got a lot more on that menu I need to try.

So we just wanted to say thank you for everyone’s patience with regard to our parking situation

We know it’s not ideal, and it is confusing as to when and where you can park, so we wanted to make a video to try to create a visual as to where you are able to park at certain times

We CAN use Sullivan’s Scrap Yard’s lot while we’re open Tuesday-Friday 4:30 PM-Close
Saturday 12PM-Close
All day Sunday, while their business is closed

Hopefully this video helps explain things a bit better
