The 3 Rivers BBQ Fest is coming back! June 3-4. 2022 at Towns Bluff Park and Heritage Center/RV Park and Campground On Friday, there will be the Georgia Great Steak Cook-Off sanctioned by SCA.

The 12th Annual Georgia Great Steak Cook-off on April 21, 2018 is now a Steak Cookoff Association sanctioned contest. The contest will be held at Towns Bluff Park and Heritage Center/RV Park and Campground (the same site as 3 Rivers BBQ Fest). The winner not only gets the big check for $2000, trophy & bragging rights, they also get a paid entry in the SCA World Championships in Texas. The contest is the Official Georgia Steak Cook-off Championship.

Still a little tired from the Hazlehurst BBQ Fest. Lots of work, but wouldn't trade it for anything. Had a great time this weekend with all my BBQ friends. A huge thank you to all cook teams & judges who came to the contest. Contest Reps Jimmy Nelms, Tina Saville Roberts & Amy Nelms Gray did a great job. Congratulations to Sauced Hogs Smoke Shack for their first Grand Championship. Congrats also to D.W.'s Kountry Cookers for Reserve Grand Champions. Also to Legal Smoke & Just Smoke N' Around for first finals call and everyone else who got calls.
