The name "Dear Potato" came from my food blog that I created to share my vegetarian recipes and quickly developed to being the name of my very own bakery. I eat a lot of potatoes and al

so call the loved ones in my life "potatoes" as a term of endearment. It's a common misconception that everything I bake is made from potatoes. I just like the name for various reasons. You can find me at the farmers' market twice weekly or at the occasional pop-up in Helena. Like & follow my page for updates and check out my Instagram for even more fun. No restaurant owner wants to publicly talk about explosive diarrhea but here we are since it’s all over the news. We’re following Taco Bell’s lead and have removed any potential ingredients that could carry cyclosporiasis from our menu. Luckily, that’s only one item! Green onions.

All the other vegetables and fruits that we use are thoroughly cooked or canned. So we’re all good!

It seems like Montana still has zero reported cases but you can’t be too safe and it’s important that our customers feel safe eating at our establishment.

Stay safe but also recognize that this outbreak is absolutely going to be damaging to small businesses. We didn’t vote for this s**t so please come support us. 💋

Summer is always totes insane for us with weddings and summer camps! Add in the spice of having a 17 month old that can now run and we’re having to close some days just to catch up on rest🫣

Trying our best to keep up with all the demands but some things have hit the back burner during summer camp weeks. Especially admin responsibilities. Please try to submit custom requests a month in advance as we’re not able to keep up with admin lately.

Thanks for understanding why our hours are so funky lately! We’ll be back to a normal schedule next Wednesday, July 8th and will keep that normal schedule for a few weeks.

Happy summer! 💋 We’ll be open this Wednesday & Thursday. Friday is TBD. Closed Saturday + Sunday.
