Athens Cafe is closed permanently.

While it may seem counterintuitive to close a popular restaurant, the rising cost of food distribution combined with recurring logistical problems has led to the -very hard- decision to close the doors.

We sincerely apologize for this belated notice.

To all of our wonderful customers and the new friends we have met along the way: THANK YOU so much for your love and support. Our family will *never* forget a single one of you!

We were truly honored to serve the wonderfully unique community of Hemphill, Texas!
