Hey all! Joshua from Cuppa Yo. Yesterday we celebrated 3 years of Cuppa Yo Hermiston. Today I’ve been thinking about how it started.
Three years ago, this was just an idea, a risk, and a whole lot of hope. We didn’t know if Hermiston needed a frozen yogurt shop. We just knew we wanted to build a place where families, kids, teams, coworkers, and friends could come in and leave a little happier than when they walked in.
It has not always been easy. We’ve had machine issues, a two thousand mile surprise road trip (long story), slow winters, long nights, and plenty of lessons learned the hard way. But we’ve also had birthday parties, after-game celebrations, first dates, school fundraisers, team nights, regulars who became friends, and a community that kept showing up.
So from the bottom of our hearts: thank you.
Thank you for giving us a chance three years ago. Thank you for bringing your kids in. Thank you for tagging us, sharing posts, buying gift cards, forgiving us when the machines acted possessed, and helping make this little shop feel like part of Hermiston.
We’re still learning. Still growing. Still grateful.
Here’s to year four. ❤️
