Hello everyone. This is a friendly reminder that Southern Twain BBQ is open for business today, providing you with all your sports game essentials. We have partnered with Doordash, Uber Eats, and 541-To-Go to deliver our freshly cooked and chopped barbecue to your doorstep in no time. Our menu includes chopped brisket sandwich plates accompanied by three sides: brisket-infused baked beans, potato salad, and homemade mac and cheese. Additionally, we offer a variety of options such as pork, ribs, sausages, smokehouse nachos, and more. To place your order, please call us at 541-969-5775.

I am pleased to report that tonight's Hermiston city council meeting included a discussion on potentially expanding the number of food truck permits. Our local small businesses demonstrated their commitment to civic engagement by making their voices heard, and I commend them for their efforts. It is crucial to recognize that active participation in such meetings enables our city officials to make more informed decisions that benefit our community. The prospect of increasing diversity in our community is a worthwhile investment of the city's time. For future advice, food truck vendors, I have been in this profession for several years and have seen well-managed locations become unprofessional due to poor management. If you allow your designated truck site to become unprofessional, I assume the ordinance will take action. Your particular truck might take a chance of getting these precious licenses pulled. Just heads up!
