I just wanted to say thank you.❤
The outpouring of support, memories, stories, and emotions surrounding the closing of this little coffee shop has been deeply meaningful to me. More meaningful than I will probably ever be able to fully explain.
I will carry so many memories with me:
the people who walked through the doors for the very first time and became regulars until the very end, the ones who discovered us later and still tried to make the most of the time we had left,
the conversations, the laughter, the hard days, the healing days,
and the countless moments of people simply connecting with one another.
Some of the most incredible moments happened right here at these tables — people reconnecting after years apart, friendships forming, ideas becoming businesses, encouragement being given at exactly the right time, and life-changing decisions being made because someone sat down with the right person at the right moment… even when they had no idea that would happen that day.
That was always the hope.
This place existed because I believed Hermosa needed a space where people could gather, slow down, feel welcomed, and build community together. And truthfully, there were moments in the beginning where I heard:
“What a dumb idea.”
“This isn’t what Hermosa needs.”
But in my heart, I believed otherwise.
So to anyone out there carrying an idea, a dream, or a calling that others don’t yet understand — listen carefully to your heart, not just the doubt around you. Sometimes the best things are built because someone decided to believe in what could be.
I am incredibly proud of what existed here. None of it would have happened without every single person who walked through those doors, supported this space, shared it with others, gathered here, worked here, performed here, held meetings here, cried here, celebrated here, or simply made this part of their routine.
You are the reason this mattered.
You are the reason it became what it was.
Thank you for seeing it through with me.
Thank you for believing in it.
And thank you for helping create something special in this little town that I will never forget.
