Just a couple of minutes from downtown at HP Taco Shop , David Romero is serving up the flavors he grew up with in Guerrero, Mexico. After decades in the restaurant business, including 17 years running two big Tex-Mex spots in Greensboro, David went small on purpose. That choice gave him more time with family and let him focus on traditional food that always made fresh. The menu has lengua, cabeza, birria, quesabirrias and more, plus a few Tex-Mex favorites!

"Here, we focus more on tradition," David says. And it's tradition you can taste!
