Rob McDaniel was the very first chef to join us for the Under the Stars Chef Series, and we are thrilled to welcome him back once again. A six-time James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: South, Chef McDaniel has built a career rooted in regional ingredients, foraging, and sustainable practices, creating a style that balances rustic roots with refined ex*****on.
He has earned national recognition for Helen, featured in publications including Esquire, Food & Wine, and Southern Living. With Bayonet — his acclaimed seafood-forward concept recently named to The New York Times’ list of America’s Best Restaurants of 2025 — he continues to explore the bounty of the Gulf and beyond.
