As a child, I grew up in a home with a very creative mom and very creative aunts. Alot of my childhood memories were of being in the kitchen watching my mom cook and bake to send out to the elderly in our community or to those who were experiencing a struggle in their life. As a young adult, I watched my mom's hobby turn into a wedding catering and decorating business, along with my aunt who start

ed making and decorating cakes and baking lots of goodies. It has always been a big part of my life and for that I dedicate this venture to them. Fast forward to 2022 and my first-born son was getting married, and I wanted to do something special. I decided that I wanted to make his cake for their couple's shower that was being hosted at my home. Through lots of trial and error I figured it out and by my surprise, it was good! That shower cake turned into my daughter's 13th birthday cake and then became small projects for friends, family and my church. So where did the name come from? Well, as you can tell, I am not a very tall person. In fact, I was always called shorty my whole life. My husband, however, told me that I was NOT short...I was just FUNSIZED! My joy is in creating and baking small things. Not too much and not too little. So here we are in 2023! With some encouragement and lots of prayer, I decided to just go for it and see where the Lord takes this little hobby of mine! My goal is to spread joy, happiness, kindness and to bring a smile to your face and tummy with our FUNSIZED treats!

Hi friends 💕

Many have asked if I have been baking lately and the answer is YES, I just haven’t shared alot lately which leads me to sharing a little personal update.

I’ve been dealing with some ongoing eye issues that began in December, and has now led to me needing surgery very soon. Because of this, I will have to step away from baking for a while during recovery.

For now, I am still taking orders and baking as long as I am able. I truly love what I do, and I’m so thankful for my customers and all of your support.

While this is a season I wasn’t expecting to be in , I’m choosing to trust God through it all and lean on my faith during this time. I would be so grateful for your prayers as I prepare for surgery and healing.

Thank you all for your continued support, kindness, and encouragement—it truly means so much to me 🤍
